We aim to have an assessment system in place which is:

Secure and consistent in implementation.

Valid for the purpose of certification by QQI.

Fair in terms of access and process, making additional supports available as necessary.

Underpinned by procedures and practices that are fair and transparent.

Internally verified as consistent across all assessment activities and assessment results recorded accurately.

Externally authenticated as consistent with national standards.

Ensure that assessment results are approved and signed-off before being submitted for certification.
