Catholic Schools Week 2026
Celebrating Catholic Schools Week 2026 – Normal Lives, Called to Holiness.
This week, our school community joins thousands across the country to celebrate Catholic Schools Week 2026. This year’s theme, “Normal Lives, Called to Holiness,” invites us to see the extraordinary in the ordinary.

In our classrooms, hallways, and playgrounds, we witness holiness every day through simple acts of kindness, courage in learning, and the joy of friendship. As Pope Francis often reminded us, we are called to be “saints next door”—people who live their lives with love and bear witness in everything they do.
Each day of the week will focus on a different aspect of this call to holiness, including Prayer (Monday), Love and Friendship (Tuesday), celebrating holiness across generations on Grandparents’ Day (Wednesday), Service and Courage (Thursday), and Joy and Mission (Friday). We encourage all our school community to join us in celebrating our school’s contribution to the community.
Thank you for your help and support.
Kind regards,
Mark Kavanagh
