The ceremonies are very much an integral part of the school calendar and are eagerly anticipated by all students as announcements of  nominees are made in assemblies a week prior to the awards. Over 100 awards were given rewarding all aspects of school involvement from academics to the arts, music and personal commitment to the school.

Guest speakers this year were Ireland Ladies' Rugby Captain Niamh Briggs for Senior students and 5,000meter World Champion Runner Eamonn Coughlan for Juniors. Both guests gave inspiring speeches and spoke with passion about their sports while focussing on the determination and dedication needed to succeed. Their messages were that no success is possible without hard work and constant commitment was echoed also by golfer Soren Kjeldsen last week when he visited the school -  a worthwhile message for our students as they approach end of year examinations.
